- Informal ProbateInformal probate is the route many Arizona estates take when there is a valid will or a clear line of heirs, and nobody is fighting about it. You still have real legal duties — this page explains what they are and where people commonly get stuck.
- Formal ProbateFormal probate is not a punishment or a sign something has gone wrong. It is the route used when a judge needs to decide something — who serves, whether a document is valid, or who the heirs actually are.
- Probate LitigationDisputes over an estate are rarely only about money. They are usually about information — who has it, who is withholding it, and what happened while nobody was watching.
- Trust AdministrationMost trustees are family members who did not ask for the job. The role carries real duties, and the mistakes that cause trouble later are usually made in the first few months.
- GuardianshipGuardianship is about personal and healthcare decisions, not money. If the concern is bills, accounts, or property, conservatorship is the companion process.
- ConservatorshipConservatorship is the financial counterpart to guardianship. It is also the route used when a minor receives money — from a settlement or an inheritance — that has to be managed under court supervision.
